Affiliate disclosure

Current state

• Some eligible outbound product links are now affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer may pay this publication a commission. Your price is exactly the same.
• A product link only appears when a signed, dated evidence row shows that the product actually covers your declared situation. An enabled affiliate rail is never, by itself, a reason to show a product.
• Programs as of 12 August 2026: BLUETTI (Awin 59271) and ALLPOWERS (Awin 40342) are accepted for the US, and exact-SKU Awin deep links are prepared for the qualified SKUs of both brands — each link encodes that SKU’s own official product page, never a homepage and never a substitute SKU. The BLUETTI links are live, and the ALLPOWERS R2500 V2 link is live again: its official US exact-SKU page, re-checked on 13 August 2026, shows “Add to Cart” and “Buy It Now” (a sale price of USD 659.00 was observed that day — a dated observation, not a guaranteed price). The ALLPOWERS R1500 Lite and R2500 Plus showed “Sold out” on their official US pages when checked on 12 August 2026, and the PECRON E1000LFP was still out of stock on its official US exact-SKU page when re-checked on 13 August 2026, so those three keep their technical qualification and show no button at all until the exact SKU can be bought again. The PECRON E2400LFP is buyable again as of 13 August 2026 and carries its authenticated exact-SKU link (Affiliatly affiliate ID 1260, 5% stated on the authenticated programme page). Jackery, EcoFlow and DJI (Awin 7327) applications are pending and Anker SOLIX is non-affiliated: coverage for those brands is not closed, and their qualified units still link to their exact official page and earn nothing. Amazon Associates is not enrolled. Zendure’s contract is executed (Impact program 33101, contract 292602, 7 August 2026) but remains switched off until its tracking URL and attribution parameter are confirmed.
• Technical qualification and commercial coverage are separate states. A SKU being technically qualified says nothing about whether a commercial relationship exists, and commercial coverage never admits, excludes, promotes or demotes a SKU.
• Acceptance into a program is administrative approval, not an editorial endorsement and not a paid partnership.
• A qualified unit with no accepted program is still shown, and links to its exact official product page under the words “Official product page — no affiliate relationship currently”. An accepted program never rescues a unit that is excluded or not yet qualified, and never changes a rank. A not-yet-qualified unit may show its exact official page for information only, clearly labelled as not a recommendation, with no affiliate parameter and no click tracking.
• No merchant or manufacturer partnership exists, and no partner or brand logo is displayed.
• No sponsored content, gifted units, or paid reviews.

Why you will often see no product at all

Most declared situations end without a product link — because the running or startup watts are unknown, because the outage needs a different architecture, or because no signed evidence row covers it yet. In those cases the site tells you the next measurement to take instead of naming something to buy. That is the intended outcome, not a failure.

The rule that protects you

Ranking happens before commission. A verdict set is computed from your declared situation and the dated catalog. That order is fixed before any commercial layer is applied. Commission rate, program availability and merchant relationship are never inputs to the engine.

• A merchant cannot buy a position, a badge, or inclusion in a verdict set.
• A product with no affiliate program available can still be the recommended verdict.
• An abstention verdict earns nothing, and the system will still return it.

Tracking

Future affiliate adapters will use deep links with SubIDs that record the source, the scenario and the verdict that produced the click. This exists to measure whether the engine gives good advice — for example, whether a given verdict type leads to returns or regret. It is never a ranking input, and it is not used to build advertising profiles.

Editorial independence

If a commercial relationship ever conflicts with an honest verdict, the verdict wins and the relationship is dropped. Any material change to this policy will be dated and logged on the updates page. Partnership or affiliate inquiries go to editor@beforethebattery.com.
